Hi, We are currently working on detailed instructions for setting up and aligning our mesh dishes, but for now, you need to refer to the 4 pictures below: http://www.tek2000.com/images/assembly_1.jpg http://www.tek2000.com/images/assembly_2.jpg http://www.tek2000.com/images/declination_screw.gif http://www.tek2000.com/images/frame.jpg The first thing you need to do is install a 3 inch post that is 4ft off the ground. Make sure it is perfectly level. Then do the following (refer to assembly_1.jpg: 1. Put the mount cylinder on your post and tighten the nuts. Direction doesn't matter right now. 2. Find the elevation bracket and assemble the two screws. 3. Use the thickest bolt as a pivot bolt to attach the elevation bracket to the mount cylinder. 4. If you are planning to use a motor to move the dish, you must now install the declination bracket (white pouch) that came with your kit. See declination_screw.gif. If you are installing the dish as a stationary setup, then simply use the two metal plates. Install them on the elevation bracket through the 1/2 inch screw and two brass pivot nuts. 5. Attach the dish frame to the elevation bracket. 6. Attach the lockbar and tighten things down so the wind can't move anything. 7. Now attach the four panels and use the appropriate bolts to lock them down. Make sure all panels are sturdy and locked down. 8. Attach the 4 rods to the panels and install your scalar ring and LNBF at the focus center. Now you must decide if you plan to motorize the dish or use as stationary. If you plane to motorize, remove the lockbar and attach your actuator. Otherwise, leave the lockbar in place. Finally, you must set your elevation angle, declination angle (if motorized) and point the dish due south. Please follow the instructions below for doing all this: http://www.geo-orbit.org/sizepgs/tuningp2.html#anchor469886 http://www.pacificsatellite.com/manual/large_dish_installation.pdf If you have any questions please let us know.
