413840invalid@example.com (tiredold)tiredoldGreetings, I replaced my reciever on my Ku dish. I can move the dish with the onscreen east-west controls in the motor set up screen, I can also move the dish with my MP02 Stab positioner control. I can memorize the position. But the reciever will not move the dish on its own. I am stumped. When I change satellites, the dish does not move. Any help would be appreceated.]]>18Edision reconnect problemsSat, 11 Jan 2025 23:44:06 +0000

414069invalid@example.com (TVHabit)TVHabitI decided to reconnect my Edision OS mio 4K to my dish after it has sat in the closet for a few years. I was able to get it operational when I first bought it in 2019 but went with another receiver at that time because of my slow learning curve. So today I decided to give it another shot and reconnected the receiver and it powers on fine - everything looks good EXCEPT it flashes on and off, on and off and won't stay still. Kinda like a new puppy? Anyway, does anyone have a suggestion? I...

413699invalid@example.com (Lone Gunman)Lone GunmanTwo of my systems run out of my shop/garage and they both have Vbox dish movers on them and Von Weise movers. These setups have been up and running for many years and I've seen my share of damage from lightning strikes.
But .... yesterday I had another problem bite me and that's a count problems FROM BOTH systems??? My garage is heated but I do not heat it unless I have something to do in it so yesterday the temperature in the shop was 53* when I went out there to setup for recording On...

413639invalid@example.com (unclejohn)unclejohnThis is going to make me sound stupid but I have been trying all day to get some channels and after hours of trying and research it appears that I will need a second dish?
This is my set-up: dish on the roof, coaxial cable down from roof to back of fta receiver. This dish was installed years ago and the only channel that I cared about is the last one in this list
but today I realized I also need all the ion channels. so I went to my receiver's menu and it didn't have SES 18...

413361invalid@example.com (cyberham)cyberhamI know this is a real shot in the dark....but I'm looking for anybody who may have an old SG-2100 motor with mounting bracket/bolts that aren't too rusted out like mine. I had a freesat v7 receiver. I plugged in a cheap hdmi to av converter into it and I guess it had a short because receiver kept restarting and eventually it completely died with no signs of life.
then I bought gtmedia receiver and plugged it into my tv. it wasn't intuitive and the instructions sucked but eventually I got it to work. it is connected to my tv via hdmi. it works fine until I turn off my tv. when I turn off my tv and turn it back on, the channel that I was last...

412158invalid@example.com (Pepper)PepperI recently got several of the Zinwell 6x8 multiswitches for very cheap. I already knew they would work as a 4x8 multiswitch and wondered if the two "flex" ports were in any way usable.
Browsing around last night I stumbled upon this, which describes some research about 12 years or so where some of our high-IQ members figured out the proprietary DiSEqC-like signaling these use for those two "flex" ports...
