79191invalid@example.com (stxboy)stxboyI searched the archive and couldn't find anything on this problem.
1. Attempting to load the Timer Schedule completely locks up my XP machine requiring a hard reboot. I make every attempt to guard against viruses and spyware so I don't think there's a problem there.
2. The Channel Listing will not load. I am able to listen to and record using my presets.
Anyone else having a similar problem? If so, any suggestions for a fix would be appreciated including a roll-back to a...

80284invalid@example.com (pretzelboy)pretzelboyI see that the TimeTrax website now has an ad pointing to an online 80's CD and vinyl store run by the Hollsco Group.
A quick search showed the same 'Hollsco Group' as a software company (same logo):
The Hollsco Group

Strongsville, OH
That address is in the middle of a very residential development.
Another website refers to them having a FTA satellite website.]]>1This Forums will be CLOSING November 1stTue, 24 Oct 2006 16:31:28 +0000

79064invalid@example.com (Intrepid63)Intrepid63As I am new to this forum, let me first say hey!
I wasn't sure which section to post this in & this seemed most logical for the topic.
I have been reading miscellaneous threads over the past several days, In particular for Sat Radio & the Time Trax Dilhemma...
I have been messing around with My newly acquired XM/PCR: I don't know why so many people would spend 2-300+ bucks, for it.
Not to say it isn't worth it, I have been a big fan of XM since I got it last January...
But I just...

75218invalid@example.com (theosus)theosusHas anyone tried a timetrax patch? Someone sent one to me thats supposed to make the "registration" requirement go away. Its for recast version 1.6
I bought and paid for timetrax, so if I ever have to reinstall it or my radio dies, I'll keep the patch for a backup so I can keep using it, but I hate to try it out, because it might screw up my install. Has anyone else heard of this particular patch, or used one???]]>23Lost RegistrationSun, 08 Oct 2006 03:24:21 +0000

78234invalid@example.com (ggreenfield)ggreenfieldHoping for help. Timetrax is recording blank files. Has been for a couple of weeks.
Was using Recast 1.8. Switched to TimeTrax 3.4 to see if that would help, but the saved files are all blank.
The radio is not muted. Its sounds fine, but records blank. The MP3 editor shows nothing but flat lines. iTunes plays older recordings just fine.
Can anyone help please?]]>9An update... Spoke with ElliottSat, 30 Sep 2006 02:01:57 +0000

First and formost TimeTrax is no more and Elliott is no longer part of TimeTrax.
With that said TimeTrax continues to function and will continue to function. Elliott and I talked about what this means for TimeTrax users and he said things would work as they do now however he did say there were some ideas on the table which...

78100invalid@example.com (RiP-HS-)RiP-HS-Hello, first post.
I just recently heard about xmpcr and bought one promptly. Now I discover that timetrax is flaking out. So is it not possible to purchase a new key? I have read most of the posts and some say yes, some say no... The radio I bought supposedly had a timetrax key - but the guy lost it. Is there a way to recover it or is there a way to contact timetrax? I sent an email to info@timetraxtech.com and it bounced back. I guess it's impossible to get the old key or...

78023invalid@example.com (LVWolfman)LVWolfmanI just went back to my old computer that had TT installed and working. Seems I'd never registered the TT Online version so I tried it.
I entered my old activation code (the one that was supposedly deactivated when I activated for my pcr) and the program came back with a permanent code and is now registered!
I'm about to try it on the new computer...]]>3Backup your TT key!Thu, 28 Sep 2006 03:20:09 +0000

75751invalid@example.com (markth)markthI had to reinstall TT on a system I rebuilt today and discovered I couldn't activate the software. Then I stumbled upon these fourms and read about the demise of the company. Greaaat. This is why I hate "phone home" registrations--what a pain.
Long story short, I still had a backup of my corrupt OS (would run, but with tons of error) so I poked around in the system registry and found my TT key and activation code tucked away in there. I was able to use this key to activate v3.4 but the...

78018invalid@example.com (LVWolfman)LVWolfmanJust found about about TTT going tits up. Hadn't used the software since last Christmas and now need to reinstall my Recast on a new computer. No go.
Gee... isn't it strange how some of us complained about this potential situation last year and were slapped down by TTT rah rahs. I'd rather have been wrong! This is twice now that I've spent a decent amount of money on software that phones home and the company has gone out of business leaving me stranded.
