    Kudos to DIRT

I just wanted to publicly thank the DIRT team for helping me out. They were able to get me a free wireless BB adapter for my 722k. I will now be able to connect my 722k to the Internet.

Minimum program package for Multi-Sport Package

I got an email from Dish offering the MSP at 50% off. Is there a minimum programming package to be eligible, and if so, what is it? When I signed into my online Dish account, the MSP option was greyed out in the selection screen. Thanks.

Need help about dish boxes and HD?

Get an HDMI splitter and split the signal from the 722 or get a HD receiver. You should be able to find a 211 receiver for around $100. Dish might even give you a new 211 for free.

    Dish Picture Quality Discussion

I've been noticing that too with the locals. I really notice it with faces - they go fuzzy and then back to clear. I was worried it was something with my equipment. I also notice it more with Fox.

    Two locations for one receiver?

I considered that option, but didn't want to do it at this time. I will probably look at it in the future. I love that the Joey can work wirelessly and hope it is officially supported in the future.

    Two locations for one receiver?

Yes, it does. I was wrong.

Awesome! Thanks everyone for your help.

    Two locations for one receiver?

Ok. I wasn't sure about using a simple splitter. I didn't want to mess the signal up. I have one I'm not using. That would make it a lot easier. The set up was done about 6 months ago. They ran two lines from the Dish. Assuming there is a 3rd output, is it as simple as hooking the coax to the...

    Two locations for one receiver?

That is basically what I am doing. The coax to the bedroom comes outside and is attached to a device (I can't remember what it is. It may be a switch) which is connected to the Dish by coax. I was going to run another line of coax from that same point to the back patio and just switch the coax...

    Two locations for one receiver?

No, it just has one HD output. It would be even harder for me to run a connection from the 211 than it would be the 722. Both would require either going through a brick wall or using the attic. I've already got a hole in the top plate in the attic for access to the 722, but running HDMI would...

    Two locations for one receiver?

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. :)

    Two locations for one receiver?

We have a 211k receiver in the master bedroom. My wife and I have talked about setting up a TV on the back patio. We would like HD content and access to our Dish programming. I have explored various options for doing this and there are positive and negatives for each of them (splitting the HDMI...

    Recommended EHD for 211 receiver

That would be a good deal, but as mentioned, I clicked on the What's in the Box link and there wasn't an AC power supply listed.

    Recommended EHD for 211 receiver

Yeah, I was just saying that the cheapest ones are not self-powered. Cheap is in the eye of the beholder :)

    Recommended EHD for 211 receiver

Thanks. I'm having a tough time finding a "cheap" self-powered WD. The cheapest ones all seem to be USB powered. I had a really cheap WD that was self-powered. I guess things have changed.
