thanks JDspencer The latest directv oval with three heads, the run is about 760. Not absolutely sure of kind of model, it seems that he installed what seems like two different types of cable. It might just be that he ran out from a prior install..it is out in a field so I would have to go to...

Hello all I had DTV come to do a simple install... Did not work... What would anyone suggest for longer run, inline amp? RG 11? The install was ok otherwise, just no signal, have done a 400-450 run without problem. Any feedback would help, thank you in advance.. dex
