Both 1k2 and 1k4 we install are eastern arc we do not use western arc equipment whatsoever so that may be where the confusion is coming from

I don't know where you are from but in Massachusetts we run one line per receiver whether its a straight run or to a diplexer for every receiver we use a dedicated run we can hook up 8 rooms off a 500 twin and a 34 switch, trunk twice 24 rooms otherwise a dot 2 has no sat inputs only dot 4 does...
