I'm a mom, wife, and chemical engineering student at New Mexico Tech. I like to read. A lot. It makes me happy. I'm a big believer in self-education and I love getting lost in a good story. I cook a lot. It's a cheap accessible way to explore.I think anything worth doing is worth doing right.I love music. My tastes are varied, and not always respectable.Science is a passion. I've had a couple of really incredible research experiences at Tech. In one I worked to develop/characterize microscopic cancer drug delivery vehicles, and in the other I synthesized drug intermediates. I hope to always work at the bleeding edge of science!Oh, and I like to pick heavy things up and put them down. It's a relatively new addiction.
