Hooked up the 65" Pany this afternoon and when I did I had to take the HMDI cable off the 42" and put it on the 65 and lost my HD on the 42. So Dish I am now ready for the Sling® Receiver 300. I know you are about ready to introduce it so lets get on with the show.:D Moe

Thanks. So it’s really about the FFC and their rules. I lost my eastern feed when Dish got it's hands slapped and miss not being able to record the 12 more hours of content.:rolleyes: m

So if I put up another wing dish, I currently use 2 500's (1 for 110 and 119 and another for 129), and pick up 61.5 I can pull in AAD and the eastern feeds? m

If this is true why is one my good friends who have Direct and living in Pacific Northwest, still able to, watch eastern stations? M

Why oh Why??? So I can see why the OP started this thread, he was looking for a little confirmation on the decision he was making or not making. What I really don't understand is why there are so many "D" people replying and watching this particular forum? Is it because they are really not sure...

I am hooking up a 522 with a quad lnb. I don't want to run two wires into the house. Is there a switch that will combine feeds from a couple or one of the lnb nipples to a switch then into a single wire then split the signa to the two feeds, sat 1 and sat 2, on the back of the 522? m

Ya think? I am thinking that maybe the increase in size (722) and ability to attach other drives is just a step towards 2 drives, in fact I thought I heard that guy that sits next to Charlie during the chats "hint" they were working on just this project. Then again maybe allowing us to attach...

Here's a question for you all. When do you all think Dish will provide a HD receiver with two, thats 2 hard drives. Not 2 tuners like the 622/722 but two acual drives?? M

Well I finally got 129 to hook up this am. I am amazed that the 1000 antenna with it's three lnb setup can even get any signals from 129. The lnb is on the opposite side of the dish for that satellite where I live. No wonder I always had trouble. Anyway thanks you all. Monty

Using a satellite finder I located a satellite that was maybe 8-10 degrees to the east, maybe 150-145, elevation 38 and skew 86. Any idea which bird it is? m

I will just take the lnb that the 129 was hooked up to on the 1000 and put it on a 500 yoke, I think it was a dual pro plus. m
