For me, NBC is by far the worst, especially when it comes to sports. Notre Dame games and Sunday Night football are unwatchable, heavily pixelated and blocky. Even Friday Night Lights has terrible picture quality problems, although Saturday Night Live and the NBC nightly news casts are ok...

yeah, going to bed here, did the reboots and everything, still nothing for me on 9300 or 9301, but i hope, and do expect, that when it does go live for real, the channels will come in.

hantu- i just had dtv installed last week, with the full HD choice extra package, so 5 lnb and h20, the whole 9 yards, and 498 is coming in with the 'you're good to go' message and everything, yet 9300 and 9301 still show channel not purchased

This is good news. I also got directv mainly for big ten network and the promise of HD broadcasts by mid-September. I also got them for the Comcast Sportsnet HD, which is phenomenal. I just wish they would've had the HD up by tomorrow so I could watch my Illini take on the Hoosiers. Still...
