is there a way of deleting the showcases

hi, just wondering is there an D*DVr sd wih component output, I believe the HD has it ,but wondering if there is one out there , perhaps maybe a standalone reciever with component output? not willing to upgrade to Hd till all of the channels become HD samsung 56'' hdmi and component r15...
