What disappointed me when going from the 622 to the HR-21 is the slow response time of the HR-21 compared to the Vip 622. I think the 622 is a much better DVR but what's ya gonna do, DTV is a better service and overall less expensive so it's a slight trade off IMO.

The still shots look fantastic until they move then the picture is jerky and it shows a lot of grain in the more gray areas of the picture kind of like swirling around until the picture is still again, can't really explain it but it looks very strange to me. You're right, 1080i looks a lot...

So, it's jerky on your set too? I wonder why, I have no BD player so I have nothing to compare this to being my first 1080p experience. Broadcast 1080i is smooth as silk on my Samsung 650.

Just downloaded Crank in 1080p, picture quality is fantastic but the picture jerks constantly with movement and pans of scenes. Anyone know why or have this problem with 1080p? Any thoughts? Thanks.
