    Fortec FS6D 1.8m Dish

Are you planning on testing the KU side of that new dish? I would like to see how that 1.8m compairs to a standard KU offset dish.

    Deep dish vs shallow dish?

I removed the center section of foam. Interesting, the KU pickup is right up front and the C-band is further back. Both elements are connected together and turn for polarity.

    Deep dish vs shallow dish?

This is the feed horn that was on the deep dish. It does not look like the standard setup. Off center next to the C-band element is the KU element. It appears that the KU side has a fixed polarity. I was planning on mounting a standard scalar ring and feed, but according to Likvid that may...

    Latitude 41° 50.244'N Longitude 87° 49.284'W is degrees/minutes which is base 60. Location: 41.837367 N, 87.821356 W is in decimal format which is base 10. (50/60) + (0.244/60) = 0.8374 (49/60) + (0.284/60) = 0.8214 If we were talking about time 7:45am (base 60) = 7.75am decimal (base 10)

lost with set up of hh90 motor

I must be close because I do have signal strength of 60 - 70 on all Sat's i try to point to via USALS - but 0% for quality. As Larry1 says, do not look at the 'signal strength' meter. The receiver manufactures should remove that meter because so many people see they have 'strength' and think...
