Looks like Harmony fixed this as I just programmed a Harmony One w/ VIP211 and all codes appear to work perfectly (DVR, skip fwd/back, rec, ...).

Not to all you dumb or anything, but maybe several of us already own 211s and would like the option of upgrading them to DVRs. Another reason: to purchase 622 = $429, 211 = $245 (dishstore.net), external HDDs = sub $99 and are reusable for other applications. Math is your friend. :)

I am also with you on the Lexington Local HD request. Fox56 is too hard to get consistently with it being broadcast on VHF4 even with a boom antenna (for me anyways).

I have a ViP211 (and 3 other receivers). This morning, my ViP211 will only pick up 1 of 3 satellites (I get 119, 129, and 110 on all others). I ran a check switch test and it changed from "Switch - DPP44 w/ separator" to "Switch - DP Feed". It appears that it isn't seeing the DPP44 switch...

Official limit is 4 leased tuners, 6 total tuners. There are people here who have exemptions. Personally, I don't understand these limits. If you want to give Dish more money, why do they not want to take it?

Pick a theme, either your friends need to be trained or they can just "read" to figure it out.

For people who already have a Vip211, spending $40 activation + $90 for a HDD (320 GB WD @Best Buy), is cheaper than upgrading to a 622. Plus, I am at my tuner limit, 6, so I can't replace my 211 with a 622.
