I have Whole Home DVR and three HR24s. I use the i-pad app to set all of my recordings. It allows you to specify which DVR you want to record to, and you don't need to interrupt your viewing to do so. :)

My HR24 did the same thing. Just run a Network system test. I did that and it re-established the internet connection and fixed the problem.:)

I got the National download version about a week ago. I have it on my three HR24 DVRs. I find it faster and smoother than the old guide.

The new HD Guide (057B) automatically downloaded to my three DVRs yesterday morning. I love it. Once you get used to the different look of the Guide, you realize how much better and faster it is.

Acceptable temperature depends on whether it's in a closed cabinet or not. I have two HR24s. Both run very quiet. The one in the entertainment center runs at 116 degrees. The one out in the open runs at 106. Both temps are fine and within normal parameters. I had a very loud HR24 about a year...
