I will pick Visionsat IV-200 because 1. PVR fta receiver. This is a feature I have been looking for. I have Hard Drive that I can spare for this function.

I am also from Winnipeg, and I can confirm that the nice warm -48C temperature last night did not break the HH90 Stab. It works fine, but motor was a dog and move slower than usual. Signal Quality is the same. Invacom works flawlessly :). I feel pity for my Stab Motor under this weather tho !

You guys seem to prefer Coolsat 5000 over 6000. If The 6000 is $20-30 more is it worth it? The 32MB on the 6000, will help store more blindscan transponders?

Hi catoer, Vertical (V) or Horizontal (H) polarity for linear feeds, or on Right (R) and Left (L) polarity for circular feeds. On the receiver V = R and H = L Hope this helps. Regards

When pointing to your TS of 119 on your circular LNB, try to make sure you have very strong signal. Circular Signal is more forgiving than linear.

Fortec Star has a "150cm KU Band Offset Dish Antenna" on their website, this is 30 cm larger than the 1.2M. Has anyone try this with c-band lnb?

Hi fjacky, Before you jump into purchasing your dish, the first thing you need to check is your line-of-sight to south. If you have nothing blocking you and if dish size is not an issue, I would recommend getting a >33" dish. I am in Winnipeg, MB and with a 33" I am able to get 61.5 - 148...
