There is a thread in which a returning DirecTV user set up his 3LNB dish and only got the even transponders. No one commented on the lack of signal from the odd transponders since he was getting a new dish anyway.
Any idea as to what caused this?

I am curious about the even transponders only: I am having the exact same problem. I have installed a larger round dish for better signal strength. My signal for most even transponders is pretty good now (75+) .. except for the spot transmissions that are zero...
