I'm going to revive this thread, I am having the exact same issue but with the new 40.0 UHF 2G remote. It is extra noticeable when changing volume on the Onkyo, the volume goes up or down 4-5 extra notches and on XBMC it is nearly impossible to navigate the menus, one press and the cursor jumps...

I haven't seen any green and purple critters running around my screen for awhile now. Makes me feel a bit vindicated from all the people at the start telling us that the problem was on the customer end. I am curious of what was changed.

I've been busy with other things all week.....I haven't really had a chance to watch anything except Daily and Colbert and I really just listen to them while working on other things......I'm excited to check now.

All I know is they messed up the premier of Doctor Who......

Well, My BBC america shows are back on now (Orphan Black) and they are quite annoying to watch. BBC has the distortions across the entire bottom where Comedy Central and SyFy had them across the left and right sides.

Not a peep from Dish and I still have the problem. Getting really annoying as Comedy Central and SyFy are two of my favorite channels.

So I just tried Dish Anywhere on my laptop and am seeing the same distortions on the edges of the screen.......does that pretty well eliminate the TVs as the culprit? I took pictures of both HDTVs and a video as well and a screenshot of the dish anywhere Living room 65" Plasma Bedroom 50"...
