thanks it turns out the next day the station comes on and says they messed up the test and everyone with Dish or Direct received a failing signal which was false. Sure would hate to be the tech who set up that test.
I have the 622 receiver and receive my OTA locals in HD this way. The local stations ran a test and we apparently don't have a digital connection. I thought HD signals were supposed to be digital. I further can't beleive the 622 receiver can't receive an OTA digital signal. What gives?
"You were ok til you got to the card switch..Not necessary..Buy the dish and receiver and add the reciver to your existing account. You'll incur a $4.99 per month additional outlet fee....
Install the dish at the weekender and connect the reciver..Done..Easy simple voila.."
We have a weekend...
I've been having a problem where the 622 isn't recording my program. I have a program set to record at noon each day. The last couple of weeks, the recorder skipped a day. I went to the schedule, and everything is set up properly.
Not to sound dumb, but how do you get your smart card number on a 622 receiver? I put in my address and I wasn't qualified, even though I've had distants since I had my C band over 10 years ago. I also used my condo number out in the boonies and didn't qualify there either.
