I'm about to leave DirecTV simply because of the awesome offer I got from U-verse. I understand that the initial two year contract with DirecTV requires that the customer has to pay $20 per month for the remaining months of the two year contract if the customer terminates the contract early...

Just as I was about to leave for work this morning, my DVR was displaying a message that my guide had not been updated for over an hour and that I should call DirecTV. I plan to do a system reset when I get home, before calling D. Does anyone know if a reset will cure this issue? :)
