I am still having a hard time understanding all this stuff about how important it is to have a professional install your equipment for Directv or Dish. Has people today really gotten that stupid? Do school teach anything technical anymore? wouldn't it be eaiser to just simply put on there...

I was wondering why Directv says they require the slimline dish with there 3 LNB when solid signal sells the phase III 18x20 and they say it can access the HD Programming. is there really a difference in the dish itself? or just another way for them to make a extra buck?

I am on a budget and looking for a good c-band package i can buy to enjoy. sky vision seems to have a good deal but theres alot of others i see with nps and programming-center. whats a good long lasting deal? anyone have any of these services? whats the best receiver to use with a c-band system?
