I've noticed that for only one show, there's always a green circle with a star looking thing inside it to the left of the show name. What is that? How do I get rid of it?

i'm originally from jersey, just moved down to florida. so i'm looking for a way to still get my mets games, PLUS all the other programming on SNY (not JUST the games so MLB.TV won't do). i currently have cable, and i was looking around to see if there were any options for me. i see DISH has SNY...
