I had problems with the audio on my 722. I am using an HDMI cable. If you are as well try changing audio setting from dolby to pcm. Sounds as though you are having some more issues but, it's worth a try.

TV Guardian uses the closed captioning to monitor vulgarities and mutes the sound when they are detected. It also shows captions at that point with the vulgarities removed. You can watch some programming without the foul language. Parental controls block the entire program.

TV Guardian has invested in upgrading and re-marketing an HD TV Guardian. Evidently they tried to negotiate with cable and satellite providers to use their software but it was a no go. The stand alone is expensive $165. I would have paid a sub fee to dish for the software to be incorporated in...

Same 722 audio issues here. Been reading many posts. Looks as though a software fix has been promised for quite a while. Can't be the signal or when you rewind the audio drop out would be at the same place. When I rewind the audio is ok until the next occurrence.
