its actually got 3 thingies... lol... i dunno... maybe i wrote that wrong up there... what does directv need to know if it is "locked" the serial number and model number? i searched for a slimline on craigslist and all i could find was "wanted" lol...guess im just going to go with there stuff...

well the $200 covers the HD DVR reciever and the dish and all install... i found a HR20 on craigslist for $100 so would cost me like $180ish if i found a slimline somewhere... maybe alittle cheaper if i could fine a used one but still... but i wanna get it all going before the 24th cause...

yeah... may just go ahead and give directv there money i guess...

yeah... 5,584 posts and thats the best you can say huh? This one is FREE... the whole point of why i asked everything i did... if i wanted a new one i would call directv and have them install everything for $200... im new to THIS forum... not forumS... thanks... but no thanks...

I got directv like 4 months ago and at the time did not get the free hd upgrade but got the DVR free upgrade... at the time i didnt have a HD tv and wasnt going to get one soon... now i got a 32in in the bedroom and a new 46in LED LCD in the living... of course... wanting to upgrade to HD now...
