I was having problems getting the code to work on my HR22 too, but I finally just took my time, entered the code only once, and started entering it as soon as the blue lights started to move. I also entered the code with the remote in RF mode. Hopefully that works for you.

I'll keep trying to do the revert. It's odd that I was able to do the force update so easily the first time. I've seen some other issues tonight. I got the red guide again, and I got a short red bar periodically on TV shows.
