The NCAA’s protracted investigation of Mississippi has taken a new twist within the last month – investigators have interviewed players at two or more rival Southeastern Conference schools about their recruitment by the Rebels, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.
NCAA Enforcement representatives have visited Auburn and Mississippi State, and perhaps at least one more SEC Western Division school, this summer to speak with players who were recruited by Ole Miss. The players were granted immunity from potential NCAA sanctions in exchange for truthful accounts of their recruitment, sources said.
Former Central Florida coach George O’Leary is reportedly going to be honored with a statue near UCF’s stadium.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the statue is expected to be completed “sometime” in 2017. O’Leary stepped down from his post as UCF’s coach during the 2015 season and the school hired Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost as his permanent replacement
nah, just put him hold the Liberty Bowl trophy they got for beating SEC team U(s)GAWow, going 81-68 gets you a statue at UCF. I wonder if they will make it with a copy of his "resume" in hand?
Brett is NEVER officially retired. Our high school has a road game, so I will at least stay up for the kickoff, doubt I make the entire game though.
Edit: The private school my daughter goes to has a road game. I forgot, the public school plays Oak Grove High at home. This may not mean much to many of you, but for the past several years Brett Farve has been acting as the OC for Oak Grove. He officially "retired" from being the named OC, but still does the job as a volunteer. I may go just to see him.

Watched both games this past weekend. So ready for the rest of the teams to kick off. Interesting note, the coach of the Charleston Southern football team was the QB at my high school when I was there. Super nice guy.
We (TN) kick off on a Thursday for the first time since the early 1900s. Not a fan of that, but I'm glad it is here. Looks like I may have scored a ticket in a suite for the Battle at Bristol.
I will make sure that this matter is properly ignore......er....handled. Personally. How do I report this a offensive?
Actually, from what I have read at rivals, he took a consensual picture of a girl he was hooking up with. When he apparently refused to date her afterwards she went ballistic. Who knows how true that is.
