360 Question.

Well I'm finally going to buy one, it's been a long time since I've purchased a gaming console. What is the must have game everyone is playing? Or what games would one recommend.

looking at your avatar, i would say ghost recon is a must for you. great game. scott and a few others here enjoy burnout revenge. i have not played it, but heard the graphics are nothing spectacular. if you like hockey, the 2k6 game is good. stay away from madden and woods this year. if you like roll playing, elder scrolls is great. project gothem is a racing game that was fun to me while i had it is on sale for 38 bucks at target for the rest of the day.

in my opinion, those are the best right now in their respective genre.

Do you think that MS is really going to release the external HD-DVD drive for the 360? This is really playing into my decision.

yes. they talked about it before the 360 was released. there are a few threads here about it as well.
