622 photo storage limit?

I've been uploading photos onto my 622, (1 folder at a time + renaming the folder on the 622), when I got a device full error message. So, I archived several movies onto my external harddrive and deleted some shows too; but the upload of my photos still showed device full. It seems that there is a rather small (perhaps 4 - 8 GB) photo storage limit? Also, it seems that photos cannot be transfered onto an external harddrive.

I think the hard drive is sectioned so there is no additional space for photos. If you want more photos, you will probably have to make each one smaller to get more onto the receiver.

I don't think it is a "size" issue, but a numerical problem. I don't think DISH has a limit like 700MB of photos - max. I think it is more like 1000 total files - max.

I'm not sure on that, as I am just guessing.

Nice to see that someone is actually using this feature. I don't, as my HDTV has a USB port on the side, and I can play the photos directly on the TV. (the TV will show the pics at full 1080p, where as the maximum output on the 62 is only 720p/1080i.
