I am simply amazed at how many HD channels there are right now. When I first signed up for HD with Dish, it was a teeny tiny package including TNT, ESPN, HDNet, and Discovery HD for $10/month plus the HD receiver lease fee, so $15/month for almost nothing and no HD DVR.
Now, for $100 (AR) I get the 722 HD DVR, and for $20/month (after 6 months free) I get TONS more HD content ( I really like the Voom channels) and the $6/month DVR fee. Plus I get to ditch my 522 DVR $6 fee!
I don't watch much TV because I am a heavy gamer (xbox 360). But, the TV I do watch is mainly major network shows like The Office etc and sports. So I am basically set for life HD-wise as it is right now....
