AirTV2 Hard Drive DVR Recommendations

Which hard drive works best with the AirTV2 for OTA recording? I don't really need a huge 2T drive, just something to hold a few dozen shows at a time. TIA!

I have a WD Elements 2TB I tried but it won't work. The Air tv doesn't seem to recognize that is hooked up since it doesn't show it available or give me an option to format it.

I'm using a 2.5" 1 TB WD Mypassport. Works great for me.

Mine has an external power supply.

I used an old 500GB laptop drive. Key is to remove Airtv from your account and redo the setup process, through the mobile app
