I migrated from DirecTV to Dish because of the Voom programming package. Unfortunately, I can't pick up 61.5 signals (and therefore Voom) because of tree interference (I'm located in Longmont, Colorado--about 10 miles east of Boulder). Thus a couple of questions--has there been any talk about moving Voom to 148? If so, has there been a timetable established?

Also, I am curious if anyone in or around Longmont has had success picking up OTA signals. Again, I'm afraid trees downtown could block my reception of the OTA signals.

Thanks for your help in advance!!!

You must have a lot of trees. We're in the fortunate position of generally being able to get to both wings (and have a much easier shot to 110/119). I thought I couldn't get 148 until the solar convergence (sun lined up directly behind satellite) helped me find a little tiny spot with a perfect line of site (even two different installers couldn't find a spot for the dish). Next solar convergence is not until October.

For Denver Over-the-Air, ask you're questions here....

Lot's of active helpers and lot's of hits doing a search on Longmont within the thread.

I'm in Arvada, CO and I can't get 61.5 either. very frustrating. I have 2 HD Tv's. I have a pointed dish at 148 for locals and the minute they add VOOM there I will sub to it...
