Anyhope for Formula 1 in HD?

If there ever was a sport where HD would bring viewship this would be it.

I've seen CART in HD and would love to see F1 in HD.

Just turned on Speed to watch the Monaco GP and after watching primarily HD the pic quality is pretty poor.

Having been to a few F1 races it would really be awesome to catch the races we can't make in HD.

The money is there for sure, the money in F1 is silly and I'm suprised they have not funded it themselves.

I would bet Indy or Montreal since ABC does Indy.

Monaco would have been perfect, but so would Montreal.

Due to time constraints we can't make it to Montreal for the race this year but we've been the past few years and its incredible.

Indy...well...I don't care for the track or its setup. It looks very cobbled together versus tracks that go out just for the F1 race itself. Looks like they are running at a second rate place, no vibrance or atmosphere.

If anyone is an F1 Fan the best race to goto I believe is Montreal, its an amazing experience, close to the track and the entire city is going for 3 days straight.

I'm half tempted to still go this year...

I used to like Indy racing, but don't care now since stupid CART-IRL split. I've reluctantly grown appreciative of NASCAR, though I know F1 fans mock it. But F1 would be cool. We would get to see the world's highest paid athlete, Herr Schumacher.

I am a big Nascar fan and can't wait until we get to see it in true HD, not Fox's extended definition. I like watching F1 as well and watched the Monte Carlo race, I just have a problem with the team orders thing. Can you imagine what Tony Stewart would say if Joe Gibbs told him to pull over and let Bobby Labonte pass him to win?
