In other words, having you trapped, listening to your complains makes absolutely no sense to them...I see no problem with companies charging the ETF because it prevents people from dropping service right and left.
It may be wishful thinking that the iphone goes to Verizon in June. Maybe, but I'd be surprised.
The higher ETF is for people signing new contracts. AT&T can't touch the existing contracts without voiding them.Well as I'm sure most know, this change in terms mid-contract (for those under contracts) would have an option to opt-out and get out of the existing contract (and also service with AT&T, but people would be clear of the ETF and free to move on)
