AT&T will become the first carrier to offer an LTE-equipped version of Samsung’s 18.4-inch 1080p Galaxy View Android tablet, enabling on-the-go viewing of more than 100 DirecTV channels for DirecTV subscribers.
The carrier is also offering special pricing to DirecTV subscribers.
The problem is AT&T wireless network does not cover all areas. This is especially true once you leave a big metro area. A good portion of Directv customers live in a area where AT&T does not provide LTE or any coverage
I'm on the fringe of LTE here, but 5 miles to the west in the mountains you have to have line of sight and the right conditions to get AT&T service....

In my area AT&T works the best in rural areas. Would viewing these stations on the tablet go against your data cap? If they prevent it from using the data cap then that would be great.
