Not a fan of TV being exclusive to one company.
Do not like that crap at all.
Just like MLB EI was exclusive now it's not. But the NFL ST is still.
Much like American Express cutting deals for great seats at concerts.
Before the rest of the fans get to buy them, they are already picked over.
Screwing everyone that isn't doesn't have the Amex code etc, or whatever company pulls this.
Streaming hopefully will end of of that.
Probably wishful thinking.
Yes, I remember C band.
I was late to the party by many years.
So I missed much of the free stuff.
I do remember one of the big TV news anchors on some feed doing his makeup
and saying lots of off color remarks. Very funny.
I also remember a Live sat. interview at Disneyworld with Ann-Margret.
Sitting outside in a chair. She had some big sun hat on. You could only hear her responses. I think it was one city, then the next.
But she was really out there in lala land. Her answers were more than odd at times but the parts of her between segments were
just crazy. lol She was talking to her people and at times it was like she was from Mars. lol I wish I'd recorded it. Probably early 90's era.
I've always liked her but this was something to see. Only on Cband.
The most Cband fun was before all the lock downs on the signal.
When it was all in the clear. Not sure when they got lockdown ability and charged for channels, the 80's or 90's.
I don't miss the dish moving 30 seconds or more across the sky just to change channels from one bird to the other to see two channels that was
put on two birds. More than tedius. But it was more than cool to never know what you might come across.
As for the NBA Ad Free games.
Hopefully it will be showing live coverage of the goings on in the building.
Rather than Fox 4k going to a static wide shot for the commercial break.
Or worse is the NFL 4k breaks with the giant static text screen that is THE WORST!
