Audio Sync problems on HR24/H24

Sorry if this has been addressed in another thread but a friend of mine just got D* and is complaining about audio sync issues after being installed less than 2 weeks. He left E* and I thought E* had all the problems. Is there a fix for this? It's only on certain channels. Thanks in advance.

I have an HR24 and have not seen an issue, what is going on? Also, is it directly connected to the TV, or thru something else.

my first thought as well. Is this going through an AV receiver? If so, there may be a setting on the receiver itself. It may not be called "audio sync" but might be called "delay".
