Big Dish Mesh Repair

I have a hole in my big dish (10') C-Band Dish. Does anyone know of a source for replacement patches for 1/4" mesh panels. Help!

I have no practicle knowledge of BUDs, but shouldn't you be able to use any metal material with holes 1/4" or smaller, or even solid? As long as you keep the same curve as the original shape, I wouldn't have thought it would matter.

Usually the best source is an old c band dish that someone is no longer using. But if all else fails Skyvision has the replacement panels. Although a little pricey. http://www.skyvision.com/store/mi1500055.html

Thanks for all the info. I found a replacement panel for about half of what Skyvision wants. It is on the way so I should be OK.

c band dish repair

can we say duct tape? It looks metallic and probably has some metal in it, i would try that first, otherwise what part of the country are you in, there is a c band dish sitting on hiway 11E between knoxville and morristown tn in front of lakeway disposal's building. The sad thing is it will probably end up in the dump, or be recycled for the aluminum, I wish I had my pickup truck with me, i would pick it up
