Boomerang Moved

I noticed yesterday that Boomerang has moved one channel from channel 297 to channel 298. Are they trying to make room for Boomerang in HD? or Something else?

No, the HD channel would have the same channel #

Since Boomerang plays older cartoons (and hopefully they don't change that) I don't see the need for them to go HD as they wouldn't have any real HD.

they would still look a lot better. but this is one that should be at the bottom og the barrel if it ever happens. i enjoy it just fine in sd

i would think if they were on film , they could show them in hd format ...would be nice to see some them in hd ,and some of the old tv shows ...like hogans on hdnet

Excellent point. Many of these cartoons were shot on 35mm and shown in theaters. Could remaster as HD for TV. Seriosuly though, I think that would cost big $$$.
