bad LNB, bad receiver, bad cable, connectors etc. More information is need to diagnose what your problem may be.

And actually it's the other way around from the LNB to the receiver. Make, model of your equipment as well as how it is hooked up is the needed info for troubleshooting.

and what do you mean you arent getting a signal from the receiver to the lnb? How did you test this? Did you test for power on the line at the lnb? Or are you just not getting a signal?
