I'm a current dish customer with a lot of recordings. I don't want to pay a monthly fee to get a another receiver on which to watch them. Can I buy a Dish receiver on which to watch only EHD's? Thanks.
Not without activating the receiver under your original account number...
As an alternative get a DVD recorder and burn DVD's of movies/programs that are important. That way you can share them and they can be played on just about any DVD player.
