Can I record OTA on Dish 522

I have a Dish dual tunrer DVR receiver. I also have an OTA antennal for local channels. The antenna gives a much better picture than Dish. Is there any way to record the signal to the DVR receiver?

No. Not with a 522. With a 622 or 722, yes.

522 does not have an ota tuner, so NO.

non helpful answer: if you are receiving SD locals and dish is uplinking them from an OTA source then yes, the 522 records OTA.

Don't start confusing people. OTA = separate non- dish antenna. Dish supplied signal (no matter where it comes from is satellite signal. The 522 will not record from OTA plain and simple.
