Canadian with Directv problem

I have had directv for years, but now am in need of a new receiver. I have a US address, but no way to have directv send me a receiver let alone a new card since I'm in Canada. Any help here with some ideas would be great !

Ebay or solid signal store online. If they don't ship to Canada then get a mail forwarding service /friend to send it to you. Once you get it, set it up and call D* to add it.

Just make sure you do your homework on what type of setup each receiver needs. Some of the newer boxes require a SWM setup.

I guess it's because the second receiver is old. They are telling by e-mail that they will send me a new one and then will send a new access card. I had this all setup years ago by a middle man that handled everything, but got out of it and gave me the access to my own account. Things have worked great with paperless billing until now. I knew the day would come.

I have a Model: DRD420RE that needs to be replaced. The other receiver is a Model: D11-300 that I guess must be OK.

Both receivers are quite old but that first one deffinently needs to be changed out. If you do not have any contacts state side that can be at your "house" to pick up your new box and resend it to you in Canada then I'm afraid all you can do is buy it out right from a retailer and activate it yourself. This can be done online or over the phone. Btw your d11 will still work but should be swapped for a d12 as well. Good luck

Thanks Guys. What about one of these places that will accept mailed packages. I can drive over the border and pick it up for a small fee. Not a problem. Ok, So in order to do this I will need to change my address online with *D*. Will that set off any red flags ? Will *D* not want to know why I didn't call for an install ? Will they check up on the address and see it's company accepts packages for boarder shoppers ? I appreciate all your help and just wanna cover my bases.
