CANNOT GET "SAT"TO WORK ON REMOTE

wHEN TV 1 (porch) is on,can't get tv 2'S (kit.) remote to change channels. Can't get "SAT" off screen. Works OK when TV1 is off. vip 222k . Mode is set for dual. New batts in remote.I press SAT on remote #2 and it stays. Nothing happens. Otherwise remote #2 will shut off and control vol. Will not change channels and SAT won't go away. Have proper code for TV. Haven't changed for years. Entire set up Almost 3 years old. PAT:

Sounds like something is interfering with TV2's remote signal. Turn on both TVs, and put TV2 remote right next to the antenna on the back of the receiver to see if it will function. If it does work when close to the receiver, you will probably need an extension for the remote antenna on the back of the receiver to move it away from the interference

That WORKED. Put 3 FT. ext.cable on antenna. Also raised it up and used 3M pic. wall hanger for antenna mount behind wall mounted tv. Thanks MUCH PAT
