Contract buyout

I emailed charter the contract buyout form and my final bill from directv on june 13th. charter says approval takes 5 to 7 days. its been that long and even more after today. i've called charter and the only thing the system says is that my documents have been received. has anyone else gotten the buyout check?

not crying foul. directv wants their money. when i signed up for charter they told me they would pay it and i expect it within the time frame they told me.

Promises shouldn't be in the critical path of a plan to pay the bills. Call me a cynic.

I understand your position but it is folly to assume that everything is always going to fall into place; especially where checks are involved. That's why many businesses now use debit cards or credits against credit cards for credits.

I had to pay my buy out payment first. Then Charter reimbursed me. It takes some time.
