Costco Rebate - How does it arrive?

I signed up for DirecTV last week using the Costco web site in order to get the $180 rebate.

So has anybody actually received the rebate? How long did it take and was there a way to check on it?

I am a little concerned because I have received nothing from Costco on this - is that typical?

The Costco banner appeared at the top of the DirecTV order pages so I am pretty sure I did everything correctly.

I received the rebate from Costco in less than a week after my install. It came in the mail as a Costco gift card. I was amazed that it came as fast as it did.

I had the install last Sat, the 1st and received and email yesterday (Tue) with a Fed Ex tracking number for the $180 gift card. It is scheduled for delivery on Thursday the 6th.

Same here, I actually got a call also saying it was approved and would get a tracking number. Got it about a week after service install.

Had Directv install a week ago Tuesday and my Costco rebate card came the following Monday by FEDEX. Love it.

I too signed up a few weeks ago and received the Costco card within a week after installation through FedEx.

Also, it looks like the Costco deal is now $120 instead of $180.
