My suggestion. Hook cable to your tv and pay for a package that offers CSN Philly cheap. I do get my locals via Comcast straight to my tv. Good for that one rain storm a year that blocks reception.

Been waiting to get CSN Philly for freaking how long now. So now I have a son at Penn State that gets it and a son at Villanova that gets it. I am in Ohio. I don't understand the "Slingbox" thingy. If I get one for one of my kids could I then somehow watch CSN Philly?

Yes. If they had a slingbox you could watch on your computer, or connect your computer to the TV. If both of you have a decent internet connection the picture will be quite good, in particular if you get the Slingbox pro but it won't be HD. You will be able to watch anything he/she can. However, for anything on cable they have to watch what you do, unless they have more than one receiver or a dual output receiver. You are actually controlling their receiver.
