CSTV Networks and Microsoft, on behalf of its Xbox360 game system, will partner to create an event called the Collegiate Nationals, featuring more than 2000 athletes competing in a four-day series of sporting events like wakeboarding, skateboarding, kayaking, triathlon, boxing and beach volleyball.
The competition next year will be held April 20-23 in Reno, Nevada.
Coverage of the event will be televised on both CSTV and its online platforms, and on yet to be determined CBS platforms. CBS recently acquired CSTV.
In addition to Xbox 360, another key advertising sponsor of the event and telecast will be Burton Snowboards.
