i have been with voom since december. i love it. the only problem i have is not being able to watch UPN in HD because we cant get a good enough signal. with voom selling i don't expect to see any new HD channels for a while especially for sat companies. directv is going to add a bunch of local HD content but if you have ota antenna they really aren't adding anything. i think voom made cable and sat companies look at there programming options and to let them know HD is the future.
there are really only 6 true HD channels out there without voom. i dent count TNTHD because its upconverted and so on except for thursdays basketball games. ESPNHD rarely shoes anything in HD but sportcenter and there show tilt.
direct dose not even has tnthd so subtract 1 channel from direct.
without voom we will be left watching standard channels in stereo surround sound. and we wont have any more kungfu HD.
