Directv 8 Satellite...

Does anyone have any info on when they will light this bird up for improoved signal etc? It is up there sitting idle still which seems odd... ANYONE? Do you know a date or why it still has yet to be lit up?

Directv 8 has a dual purpose:

1. It will replace a sat @ 101 degrees.
2. It will be used a link for both SW1 and SW2.

Because of this, don't expect anything from it until around Oct/Nov 1st!
