
I emailed Dish to ask about how long I have to give notice to disconnect, not knowing if I had to give 30 days or 1 day or whatever. We are moving Dec 8th. I sent the email on 11/10.
I turned on my Dish today to find NO CHANNELS!
So I checked the switches, etc.. and finally called.
They disconnected me today!

So instead of going without tv for 3 more weeks, they wanted to cahrge me a $25 RECONNECT fee!
What?! :shocked
SO after arguing with them, they waived that fee and restarted my service.
But now I am sure I am going to have a new acct number, they said I'll be getting a bill for 2 months worth of service which before I was on eft. AND I lost my $1.99/mo warranty plan since it is no longer offered.
RIDICULOUS!
I am so mad right now at Dish, I can't wait to get rid of them forever on Dec 8th.
I am sure as soon as I get my bill, there will be other problems and charges that will outrage me more at this company.
