Dish changed my locals

Ever since i joined dish i have had the memphis,tn DMA. I get up this morning and I found they changed it over to the jackson,tn DMA and none of the jackson locals are in HD

I dont know how you were getting Memphis locals as your loc (if that right in your profile) is about 20 miles East of Jackson whereas Memphis is on the Western border. You are in the Jackson DMA

When i signed up for dish i don't think they had jackson locals then. yes,that is where i am located.

You may have been "caught" in an DMA audit check?

possibly. If the locals werent available at the time then you got no locals. They just can't "give" you a neighboring market per the FCC rules.

Check with DIRT? .............. But from the sounds of it you may have to make other arrangements..........

boy gpollock you must have made someone at dish mad!first no free playboy then they take your hd locals away.

As mentioned by others a (move) may be the only way to get hd locals back.

The system is a little flawed,very surprised it took that long to fix that.

It stinks for you I know but by law dish has no other choice but to provide you with Jackson.They could get in pretty big trouble for a few mistakes like that.

Hopefully you can get some hd locals soon.

Maybe after they launch echo 16 on 61.5 this summer, they'll put those HD locals on that orbital.

I hope so. I have 4 locals now and not a one is in HD. it stinks. but, maybe they will be in HD eventually.
